Full description
You know that postcard image of Tropea? Yes, the one with the Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola standing on the rock of the same name.
It is in the shadow of this scenic attraction that you will be able to take a bathroom break if you participate in our motorboat tour: in the company of a local guide who will tell you stories and curiosities, you will sail along the Costa degli Dei as far as Capo Vaticano.
And before disembarking, an aperitif with typical Calabrian products to toast this 3-hour excursion!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Tropea (VV). We will be greeted by thecrew, who will welcome us on board the motorship!
Once we have finished boarding all the passengers, we will be ready to set sail to discover the Costa degli Dei. The first sights we will see during our navigation will be the scenic Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola and the Skeleton Cave; we will then stop near the Scoglio di Riaci for an initial 30-minute swim.
We will then pass by Formicoli, Praia di Fuoco and Grotticella Bay; it is in this latter natural setting that we will stop for a second bathing stop of about 30 minutes. Back on board, we will be served an aperitif (included) based on typical Calabrian products such as assorted bruschettas and an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.
We will continue until we reach Capo Vaticano; the navigation will be accompanied by a local guide who will tell stories and curiosities about the attractions encountered. We will then turn back to Tropea, for a final 30-minute swim in the shade of the evocative Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The experience is available from May to October. The excursion is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 15 participants.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Theboat is a 22-metre-long motor vessel with two viewing decks, sunbathing and shaded areas, a refreshment bar, tables and benches, a toilet, a shower, a professional stereo system and Wi-Fi. Dogs are not allowed on board.

An additional shuttle service is available from Tropea, Ricadi, Zambrone, Parghelia, Briatico or Capo Vaticano at a cost of €5.00 each way per person to be paid on site; the service is also available from other destinations on request.
