Reach one of the most beautiful and evocative places in Sardinia, the Grotta del Bue Marino. Once the habitat of the monk seal, the cave fascinates millions of people today with its hidden lakes of crystal-clear water and splendid play of light.
Aboard a comfortable motorboat, you can travel to the cave in peace, and then continue with a guided tour (not included).
What we will do
The appointment is at the port of Cala Gonone, 30 minutes before the time indicated in the booking. Once on board the motorboat, we will set off in the direction of the Grotta del Bue Marino.
The cave owes its name to the nickname used by shepherds to call the monk seal "Su Oe 'e Mare", which used these cavities to give birth to its pups.
After a 20-minute boat ride, we will reach the cave and disembark for a guided walking tour (the entrance ticket to the cave is not included and can be purchased on site before departure).
At the end of the visit, the motorboat will take us back to the starting point. The activity lasts 2 hours, including the visit (not included) and transfer.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children up to 3 years of age do not pay.

Attention! Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time.
The transfer can be booked from April to October, weather permitting.
The motorboat can accommodate up to 150 people and is equipped with a toilet. Small dogs are allowed on board, but are not allowed on the beaches and must be held during the visit to the cave.
The ticket for the Sea Ox Cave is not included and can be purchased online or at the ticket office before departure. The cost is €10 for adults, €5 for children (6-12 years) and free for children under 5 years.
