Day by motorboat to Vulcano, Panarea and Stromboli

Get ready to set sail with us to discover the wonders of the Aeolian Islands!

On board our motorboat, you will be able to explore three of the archipelago's most picturesque islands in comfort: Vulcano, Panarea and Stromboli.

Between a dip in the turquoise waters of Calajunco and Grotta del Cavallo, stops ashore to explore the islands on your own, and the evening spectacle of the Sciara del Fuoco, it will be an excursion you won't easily forget!

What we will do

Departure is at 9.30 am from the port of Lipari (ME). Upon arrival (15 minutes beforehand to embark), the staff will welcome us and accompany us on board the comfortable motorboat.

Once we leave the port, we will head for theisland of Vulcano, the third largest in the archipelago. On the way we will admire the spectacular shores of Vulcanello and the suggestive Valley of Monsters, where lava formations create fantastic figures. We will pass by the Bay of the Black Sands and continue to the Grotta del Cavallo where we will make our first swimming stop of about 30 minutes.

After another dip in the waters near Gelso, the southernmost part of the island, we will disembark at the port of Vulcano. We will have about 2 hours of free time here, during which we can take a walk in the centre or have lunch on the beach or in one of the island's many restaurants.

In the early afternoon we will leave Vulcano and head towards Panarea, the smallest and most glamorous of the Aeolian Islands. We will sail along the beautiful bays of Calajunco and Zimmari, surrounded by clear waters and the remains of ancient prehistoric villages, until we dock in the harbour, where we will stay for a couple of hours to explore the lively centre of Panarea.

We then depart for the third island of our trip, Stromboli, passing by the islets of Basiluzzo and Spinazzola. Arriving in front of Europe's most active volcano, we will prepare to disembark at the port of Scari. We will have time to swim in the cobalt waters, visit the house where Ingrid Bergman stayed during the filming of the movie 'Stromboli', or simply relax and enjoy the view.

In the evening we will return to the motorboat to admire the Stromboli and end the day under the Sciara del Fuoco, witnessing the spectacular eruptions that light up the night sky.

Finally, we will return to our point of departure around 10pm, after about 12 and a half hours of experience.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Other information

The activity takes place from July to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 20 participants.

Depending on the number of participants, a 16- to 20-metre motor vessel with a capacity of up to 130 people can be used. All motor vessels are equipped with comfortable seating, shaded seating, a bar and a toilet.

Small dogs are allowed on board.

The venue cannot be reached by public transport.
