A panoramic tour dedicated to all nature and mountain-bike lovers. One of the most beautiful routes in the area, offering extraordinary views of the coastline and theTuscan Archipelago.
Have fun on the heights of Monte Argentario, crossing downhill stretches and points overhanging the sea. Adrenaline is guaranteed, but there will also be moments of relaxation in the cool of the maritime pines.
An experienced guide will accompany you and help you experience this adventure to the full. The route covers varying degrees of difficulty and can satisfy bikers of all levels, including the most demanding enthusiasts.
What we will do
The meeting point is 30 minutes before 08: 00 at the meeting point in Porto Santo Stefano (GR). Here we will meet the guide, be given our mountain bikes, and prepare for departure. Leaving the centre of the town, we will begin to climb up the promontory of Monte Argentario.
Hairpin bend after hairpin bend, we will reach an asphalt road that will lead us up to the Capo d'Uomo tower, 350 m above sea level. In the last stretch the climb is demanding, but the effort will be repaid by an exceptional view from the summit of the knoll overlooking the coast below.
The route will continue between hairpin bends and dirt roads in the direction of Porto Ercole, a locality that has been part of the Borghi più belli d'Italia since 2014. For lunch break (not included) we will stop near Forte Stella, a defensive fortification dating back to the 16th century, so called because of its characteristic shape.
In the afternoon we will pass by the Orbetello Lagoon, a WWF Oasis that provides a habitat for many species of aquatic birds, including the beautiful pink flamingos.
We will finally return to Porto Santo Stefano at around 13: 00, after having covered a total of 41 km. The excursion will last about 5 hours in total.

This activity is at an intermediate level and is suitable for those who want a stimulating physical activity without renouncing views, history and natural beauty.
The minimum height required is 150 cm.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
