Fancy escaping the city traffic and finally breathing some fresh air? In Florence, you can hire a mountain bike to explore the Tuscan hills and vineyards!
You don’t need a guide – you’ll be the one setting the pace for this full-day adventure : with all the accessories included, you’ll be ready to cover plenty of kilometres and explore the city’s surroundings to your heart’s content!
What we will do
You can collect your bike between 09: 00 and 13: 00 at the meeting point in Florence (FI), where the local staff will welcome you. After a brief introductory briefing , you’ll hop on your mountain bike and set off on the ride.
You’ll be provided with a gear-equipped mountain bike,ideal for tackling dirt tracks and slopes outside the city. The staff will be on hand to suggest the best hilly routes for you to follow at your own pace, but you’ll be free to create your own bespoke route as you venture into the countryside.
You’ll also be provided with a water bottle and a chain lock, essential for securely locking your bike during your well-deserved breaks. You’ll be free to manage your stops and pace as you wish throughout the day, enjoying the crisp air away from the usual tourist routes.
The bike must be returned by 7. 30 pm at the latest, after a total hire period of approximately 10 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is easy and is suitable for everyone. The bikes, which have an open frame, are suitable for people between 1. 55 m and 1. 80 m tall.
Other information
Bikes are available for hire all year round, from Monday to Saturday.
Child seats or trailers cannot be fitted to this mountain bike model.
To collect the bike, you’ll need one form of ID per group and a security deposit of €300 per bike, payable by credit card, which will be released at the end of the hire period.
There is a pay-and-display car park on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
