Nascetta wine tasting and winery visit in Monforte d'Alba

"A great white wine in the land of great reds", this is how our guide defines Nascetta!

It is theonly indigenous white grape of Langhe, particularly appreciated for its ability to age in the bottle. And precisely because of this characteristic, during the course of the experience you will be able to taste 4 different vintages of Nascetta, to better understand its differences and merits.

A2-hour experience, enriched by a guided visit to the winery.

What we will do

The appointment is at the selected time at the Castello di Perno Winery in Castelletto, in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba (CN). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us in the exploration of this wine reality in the heart of the Langhe.

Once all the participants have gathered, and after an initial presentation, the visit to the winery will begin: we will walk through the winemaking rooms and the barrel cellar, discovering the production; the guide will be at our disposal for further information and curiosities. This will last 30 minutes.

We will then reach the tasting room, which, depending on the time of year, will be a panoramic room or terrace overlooking the vineyards, the Castle of Serralunga d'Alba, Monforte d'Alba and the hills of the Langhe. The tasting will include 4 glasses of different vintages of Nascetta, the only indigenous white grape of the area that has an excellent capacity for ageing in the bottle; all accompanied by breadsticks.

The experience will last a total of 2 hours, at the end of which we will be able to walk independently through the rows surrounding the winery.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.

Wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Accompanying minors, astemics and pregnant women participate free of charge.

The facility is wheelchair accessible.

Other information

Attention! The meeting point is at the Perno Castle Winery, not at Perno Castle, which is 6 km away and will not be visited during the experience.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 4 participants is reached.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

Small dogs are allowed on the premises.

• tasting+ chopping board: the option includes the tasting of 4 glasses of different vintages of Nascetta accompanied by a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses.
