Join us for our ‘couples’ ageing experience’: a night spent in a wine barrel amongst the vineyards of the Avellino area. Enjoy an original and romantic getaway for two , complete with a sensory shower and a mini hot tub, which will make your stay even more relaxing.
Breakfast and the option of an aperitif-dinner round off the package. Perfect for celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourselves to some time together!
What we will do
Check-in is from 3. 00 pm at the property in Sant'Angelo all'Esca (AV). You can access your accommodation via self-check-in, following the instructions you will receive once your booking has been confirmed.
You’ll be staying in a stunning, spacious wooden barrel nestled amongst the tranquillity of the vineyards. Inside, you’ll find a cosy space featuring a double bedroom, a bathroom, a couples’ sensory shower and a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, an air fryer, a fridge, induction hobs and a sofa bed.
Bed linen, towels, a hairdryer and toiletries are provided. The accommodation is also equipped with air conditioning (heating and cooling ) and Wi-Fi.
Outside, under a private gazebo, a heated mini-jacuzzi awaits, where you can relax in complete privacy whilst admiring the Irpinia countryside.
During the day, you can explore the area’s attractions by hiring e-bikes on site to visit the villages of Taurasi, Gesualdo and Fontanarosa, or organise walks and wine tastings at local wineries. If you wish, you can enhance your evening with an aperitif dinner (optional) featuring traditional cured meats, local cheeses and a bottle of Aglianico wine.
In the morning, you can enjoy breakfast at your leisure thanks to the provisions left for you in the accommodation.

Who it is aimed at
The barrel is recommended for a couple, but can accommodate up to 6 people.
Children aged 6 and under stay free of charge. Due to space constraints, it is not possible to add a cot.
Any additional guests beyond the couple will have access to two loft beds in the double bedroom and the sofa bed for two people.
The property is not wheelchair accessible.

The experience is available all year round. Check-in is from 3. 00 pm and check-out is by 11. 00 am.
The barrel has a private bathroom equipped with a toilet, washbasin and sensory shower for couples; there is no bidet.
When booking, you can purchase the package including an aperitif dinner: select the ‘stay + aperitif dinner’ option. If you have any food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the organiser using the details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know.
E-bikes are available to hire on site (2 available) , at a cost of €40 per couple.
Dogs are permitted for an additional charge of €20, payable on site.
The property is not easily accessible by public transport; free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
