Ready to set the sails and sail the waters of this new adventure?
Setting sailfrom Ancona, you can spend a day sailing, watching the sun set while enjoying an aperitif and learning the secrets of sailing with a skipper. But that's not all: once the sun goes down, you will spend the night on board lulled by the waves of the Conero Riviera in your private cabin!
How does that sound? To us it sounds like the perfect plan for an unforgettable experience!
What we will do
The appointment is 1 hour before the departure time at the meeting point in Ancona (AN) . The skipper will be waiting for us there and will proceed with the check -in. After boarding the boat, at 10: 00 we will be ready to set off on our sailing experience!
We will sail following the wind along the Conero Riviera and have the entire boat at our disposal to do what we want. You can relax, sunbathe and enjoy all the comforts on offer. Or we can ask the skipper to teach us how to drive a sailing boat. We will learn how to steer, anchor and un-anchor the boat, open, close and trim the sails, and try out all the manoeuvres known to experienced sailors. In short, this will not be a real course, but an unmissable opportunity to get closer to the world of sailing!
After a morning spent on the move, we will stop at anchor to enjoy lunch (not included) . The stop will last about 2 hours and we will have the opportunity to cook whatever we like on board. We will also take the opportunity to take a dip and cool off with a swim in the sea!
Afterwards, we will decide together with the skipper and the other guests whether to continue the stopover or leave for a final sail. Regardless of which alternative we choose, we will have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the sunset while enjoying an aperitif (included) with prosecco and savoury snacks.
In the evening, depending on the weather, the skipper will decide whether to dine on board the boat (service not included) and spend the night at anchor near the Scoglio del Trave, or to return to land and sleep moored in the harbour. Either way, it will be a unique night, allowing us to fall asleep lulled by the rocking of the waves.
The morning will give us a wonderful awakening in the middle of the sea and, once we have had breakfast (included) , we will be able to start sailing again , exploring the opposite side of the coast from the previous day.
After a last lunch on board (not included) and a few more stops for a dip in the sea, we will return to port at around 17: 00.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 5 and up. Children under the age of 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women. The boat is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 3 participants. Check-in will be at 10 a. m. and check-out at 5 p. m. the following day.
The boat on which the activity will take place is a 14-metre sailboat, with a maximum capacity of 6 passengers (excluding crew) , 2 bathrooms with shower (shared) , teak deck, large cockpit with cushions, awning for the sun, extendable table, solar panels for electric autonomy, spacious dinette with sofa and table, kitchen equipped with cooker, oven and fridge.
On board there are 2 cabins with a double bed and 1 cabin with a bunk bed and hot water, wi-fi and USB sockets. The use of other types of sockets is only possible when in port. In addition, the boat is equipped with all safety equipment. You must remain barefoot on board or wear trainers with clean soles.
All meals, with the exception of an aperitif and breakfast, are excluded from the participation fee. Participants may bring the necessary products for cooking on board. Products such as biscuits, milk, juice or the like will be available for breakfast. If you want anything else, you will need to bring it with you on board. In case of allergies and intolerances and to receive further information on meal management, please contact the organisers via the contact details in your booking confirmation e-mail.
Regarding luggage, hard bags/suitcases are not allowed on board because they cannot be stowed in the hold, unless they are small beauty cases.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and free parking spaces are available nearby.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
