Night on a sailing boat with day trip to the Conero Riviera

Ready to set the sails and sail the waters of this new adventure?

Setting sailfrom Ancona, you can spend a day sailing, watching the sun set while enjoying an aperitif and learning the secrets of sailing with a skipper. But that's not all: once the sun goes down, you will spend the night on board lulled by the waves of the Conero Riviera in your private cabin!

How does that sound? To us it sounds like the perfect plan for an unforgettable experience!

What we will do

Please arrive at the meeting point in Ancona (AN) one hour before departure . The skipper will be waiting for us there to handle check-in. Once on board, at 12: 00 we’ll be ready to set sail for our sailing adventure!

We’ll sail with the wind along the Conero Riviera and have the whole boat to ourselves to do whatever we like. You can relax, sunbathe and enjoy all the comforts on offer. Or we can ask the skipper to teach us how to sail a boat. We’ll learn to steer, anchor and weigh anchor, open, close and trim the sails, and try out all the manoeuvres familiar to experienced sailors. In short, it won’t be a proper course, but an unmissable chance to get a taste of the world of sailing!

After a morning spent on the move, we’ll stop in the harbour to enjoy lunch at anchor (not included) . The stop will last about 2 hours and we’ll have the chance to cook whatever we like on board. We can also take the opportunity to take a dip and cool off with a swim in the sea!

Afterwards, we’ll decide together with the skipper and the other guests whether to stay put or set off for one last sail. Whichever option we choose, we’ll have the chance to admire the beauty of the sunset whilst enjoying an aperitif (included) of prosecco and savoury snacks.

In the evening, depending on the weather, the skipper will decide whether to have dinner on board the boat (service not included) and spend the night at anchor near Scoglio del Trave, or whether to return to shore and sleep moored in the harbour. In any case, it will be a unique night, allowing us to drift off to sleep lulled by the rocking of the waves.

The morning will treat us to a wonderful awakening in the middle of the sea and , once we’ve had breakfast ( included) , we can set sail again to explore the opposite side of the coast to the one we visited the previous day.

After a final lunch on board (not included) and a few more stops for a dip in the sea, we will return to port at around 3. 00 pm.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for ages 5 and up. Children under the age of 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.

The experience is not suitable for pregnant women. The boat is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.

Other information

The activity is available from April to October and will be confirmed once a minimum of 3 participants has been reached. Check-in is at 12: 00, whilst check-out is at 15: 00 the following day.

The vessel used for the activity is a 14-metre sailing boat, with a maximum capacity of 6 passengers (excluding crew) , 2 shared bathrooms with showers, a teak deck, a spacious cockpit with cushions, a sun awning, an extendable table, solar panels for self-sufficient power, a spacious dinette with a sofa and table, and a fully equipped galley with hobs, an oven and a fridge.

On board there are 2 cabins with double beds and 1 cabin with a bunk bed, and hot water, Wi-Fi and USB sockets are available. The use of other types of sockets is only possible when in port. Furthermore, the boat is equipped with all safety equipment. On board, you must remain barefoot or wear trainers with clean soles.

All meals, with the exception of aperitifs and breakfast, are excluded from the participation fee. Participants may bring the necessary ingredients for cooking on board. For breakfast, items such as biscuits, milk, juice or similar will be available: if you would like anything else, you will need to bring it with you when boarding. Regarding luggage, hard-shell bags or suitcases are not permitted on board as they cannot be stowed in the hold, unless they are small toiletries bags.

Dogs are not permitted on board.

The meeting point is accessible by public transport and free parking is available nearby.
