Night on a sailing boat with breakfast and half-day tour in Palermo

Some people sleep in hotels... and others are lulled by the waves.

With this Boat&Breakfast moored in the heart of Palermo's tourist port, your sailing adventure begins even before you set sail.

A night in your cabin, the city glittering all around, a cannolo for breakfast , and then off you go: sail to the wind and spritz in hand, towards a half-day at sea!

What we will do

Check in is at 18:30 at the meeting point at the port of Palermo (PA). Upon arrival we will be welcomed by the skipper on board the sailing boat Rosalia.

Once we have stowed our luggage in our private cabin, we will be free to spend the evening as we prefer: while the boat will remain moored in the port, we will be able to choose whether to stay on board or to enjoy the many clubs and restaurants that enliven the evening movida of Palermo's tourist port.

We will return on board when it is time for bed. During the night, the boat will always remain in port. The following morning, the skipper will come on board to bring us a breakfast of local pastries (yes, there will be cannoli and brioche with granita, just as Sicilian tradition dictates!).

At 10:00, having gathered the other participants, we will be ready to set sail for our half-day sailing excursion ! We will sail along the coast until we reach the Marina di Villa Igea in about 50 minutes. During the crossing we will also try our hand at the helm and assist the skipper in manoeuvring.

Once we arrive at our destination, we will have a long break of about 2 hours to dive in, relax in the sun and also enjoy a SUP or tender ride to the beach. An aperitif of local specialities such as calzoncini and panelle, accompanied by soft drinks and spritz, will also be waiting for us on board.

Finally, we will set sail again for a further hour of sailing until we return to port. The activity will end after about 4 hours.

Check-out is scheduled at the end of the sailing excursion, at approximately 14:00 hours . The experience will last a total of approximately 20 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for all, with no age limit; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Infants (0-1 year) participate free of charge.

The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request boarding support.

Other information

The experience is available from May to October: no minimum number is required for the overnight stay, while the boat excursion is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants.

Please note! The experience programme may be subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions. The boat trip only takes place the following day, departing at 10:00 a.m. Guests spend the night alone on the boat (without skipper).

The sailing boat "Rosalia" is a 13.60 m Elan 45 Impression, equipped with 4 cabins (3 doubles available for guests), 2 bathrooms, SUP, tender and refrigerator on board. The galley cannot be used by guests, but if you wish to dine on board you can arrange this in advance with the skipper (extra service): contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail for more information.

You remain barefoot on board. Dogs are allowed on request: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request to bring your four-legged friend on board.

Free and/or paid parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
