Get ready for anevening adventure amidst Puglia's most authentic landscapes! On board a two-seater buggy, you will drive through the countryside of the Itria Valley at sunset, among centuries-old olive groves, trulli, and ancient farmhouses.
The tour will start from Castellana and wind its way between Monopoli and Polignano: a 3-hour experience with an expert guide, exciting scenic stops, and a tasty tasting under the stars, accompanied by music and folk dancing.
What we will do
We’ll meet at the meeting point in Castellana Grotte (BA).
We will be met by the guide, who will accompany us throughout the experience. Before getting on board, there will be a 15-minute briefing to familiarise ourselves with the buggy, a two-seater vehicle ideal for exploring the varied routes of the Apulian countryside.
We’ll set off , driving along sheep tracks, dirt roads and through rural landscapes, crossing the countryside between Castellana, Monopoli and Polignano. Along the way, we’ll stop amongst centuries-old olive groves, visit a traditional trullo and a small Byzantine temple, and listen to tales of the area’s history.
The highlight of the experience will be a tasting under the stars: a lit barbecue, sausage rolls, a drink of your choice, music and folk dancing amongst the olive trees. It will be like taking part in a real Apulian festival!
After this moment of conviviality and tradition, we’ll hop back on the buggies to return to Castellana, completing a route of around 20 km.
The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
To drive the buggy you must be over 18 years of age and hold an A1 or B driving licence.
The minimum age for passengers is 3 years.
The experience is of an easy level and also suitable for those who have never driven a buggy before.
Other information
The excursion is available from May to September, on Saturday evenings, and is confirmed once at least five buggies have been booked: please contact the organiser to find out the available dates after purchasing the voucher.
The organiser has 10 two-seater buggies, accommodating a maximum of 20 participants.
During the tour, the driver and passenger may take turns at the wheel, provided they meet the specified requirements.
If you have any food allergies and/or intolerances, please inform the organiser using the contact details provided in the confirmation email.
Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on the tour.
Castellana Grotte is accessible by public transport, with a free pick-up available on request from the stop nearest the meeting point. The centre has a private car park.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
