In Sesto Calende, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, a one-night stay in an exclusive houseboat awaits you. This floating suite is the ideal setting for a romantic getaway with an original flavour.
You can relax in the private Jacuzzi on the terrace or start your day admiring the quietness of the surrounding nature. Your stay can also be enhanced with brunch and an aperitif, for an experience dedicated just to you!
What we will do
Check-in is from 16: 00 onwards at the property in Sesto Calende (VA), on the shores of Lake Maggiore. On arrival you will be welcomed by the staff and accompanied to your accommodation.
Your houseboat will amaze you with its bright and modern ambience: inside you will find a double bedroom, a kitchen equipped with utensils, hob, kettle and dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. You will also have a coffee machine with pods, bottles of water and a mini bar at your disposal. There is also a sofa bed for two additional guests in the living area, linen, towels, courtesy kit, hairdryer, Wi-Fi and hot/cold heat pump.
The real jewel of the accommodation is the 35 sqm terrace, where a year-round heated Jacuzzi awaits you for lake-view wellness moments.
During the day, you can explore the surroundings by taking advantage of the houseboat's convenient location. You can also book canoe trips, horseback riding or relax at the lido in Sesto Calende.
To make the experience even more complete, you can request a brunch or aperitif served directly on board (extra services to be paid locally) .
Check-out is by 10: 00 a. m. the following morning.
Who it is aimed at
The accommodation is designed to accommodate a maximum of 4 persons, thanks to the presence of a double bed and a sofa bed. Cots are not available.
The accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The experience is available all year round. Check-in is from 16: 00 until 20: 00. In case of arrival after 20: 00, you can arrange a self check-in with the property to access the houseboat on your own.
The structure offers some additional optional services, to be requested at the contact details given in the email confirming your reservation and to be paid for on the spot: sweet or savoury brunch (25€ per couple) ; aperitif on the terrace with 2 glasses of prosecco and aperitif plate (25€ per couple) ; romantic set-up with roses and champagne (price to be agreed) .
If you have food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to inform them. Please note that it is not possible to handle menus for celiacs.
A tourist tax of €0. 50 per person per night is required, to be paid on site in cash.
Dogs are not allowed.
The property is easily accessible by public transport, being about 1 km from Sesto Calende railway station; there is free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
