Recharge your batteries whilst enjoying a stay in a historic courtyard in Sondrio: after a restful night’s sleep, you can take a stroll through the surrounding countryside, visit the nearby farmstay and enjoy a delicious lunch.
Get ready to switch off and rediscover nature through the flavours of the local area!
What we will do
Check-in is from 3. 00 pm in Sondrio. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the staff and shown to your accommodation. You will be staying in a double room set within a 19th-century courtyard, with mattresses and pillows made entirely from wool from the organisers’ own sheep. The room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and bed linen and towels are provided.
The property is situated in the historic centre, but a 5-minute walk will take you to the nearby farm, where you can take a closer look at the barn and the orchard. Furthermore, in the surrounding grounds you’ll find many dye plants, a vegetable garden and a picnic area.
For dinner, the owners will be happy to recommend a typical local trattoria, whilst in the morning a hearty country breakfast (included) will be waiting for you in the courtyard’s small cellar. You can arrange with the organisers to have a sweet breakfast, with cakes and fresh fruit, or a savoury breakfast with eggs. There will also be a coffee machine and a kettle at your disposal.
The experience includes a delicious set-menu tasting lunch, served in the cellar. You’ll savour traditional country recipes: vegetables preserved in oil from the vegetable patch, artisanal pork cured meats, homemade bread with honey and jams, cotechino on a bed of leeks, a seasonal first course such as tagliatelle, crespelle or risotto, and a meat-based main course. The meal also includes a homemade dessert, a chicory coffee, a local amaro and a bottle of red wine.

The experience is available all year round. Check-in is available from 3. 00 pm to 9. 00 pm, whilst check-out must be completed by 11. 00 am at the latest.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
