Spend a night in a unique setting, inspired by the Hobbit Shire described in Tolkien's tales. Experience the thrills of The Lord of the Rings and relax in an unforgettable atmosphere.
Then enjoy a delicious breakfast in a themed room!
What we will do
The accommodation is located in Rocca Grimalda (AL). Once you arrive at your destination, you can check in from 14: 00 onwards. The property is located in the Alto Monferrato, an area of rare beauty, dotted with hills, vineyards, wineries and characteristic villages. The historic centre of Rocca Grimalda, in particular, is famous for the Museum of the Mask and because it hosts the Lachera, one of the oldest popular carnivals.
The accommodation where you will spend the night is a Hobbit House, built with the aim of recreating the setting and atmosphere of Tolkien's tales. Upon entering the garden surrounding the accommodation, you will feel as if you are being welcomed into the Shire, into Middle-earth. Entering the flat through the characteristic round doors, you will find yourself in a space equipped with a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, a bathroom with a shower and a 'relaxation cave' (an evocative room, made of imitation stone, with lights and ivy descending from the ceiling and the soundtrack of The Lord of the Rings playing in the background) . Should there be an extra guest, you can request the addition of a bed.
The ambience is very comfortable and will immediately make you feel at ease, regardless of the weather or season, as it is equipped with running water, electricity and heating. Should you wish to buy something for dinner and eat it on site, you can go to the room next to the Hobbit House, which is equipped with tables.
Finally, after a dreamy night in the Hobbit House, you will move to the adjoining room for breakfast (included) . This will be sweet or savoury (on request) and will include yoghurt, fruit juice, cereals and cakes or sliced meats, cheese, toast and eggs.
After this pleasant awakening, you can check out by 10: 30 a. m. and set off on your next adventure!

The facility is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.
Other information
Accommodation in the Hobbit House is available all year round, even in bad weather. Check-in is from 14: 00 and check-out no later than 10: 30.
The house has a room with a double bed and a bunk bed and a bathroom with shower. In addition, it is equipped with hot water, electricity and heating. Towels and bed linen are also provided and the house can accommodate a maximum of 5 persons. In the case of a couple with a small child, a cot can be requested.
Please note! The rooms in the accommodation are separated by curtains.
The fee includes a sweet breakfast. By making a request to the host in advance via the contact details on the booking confirmation email, a savoury breakfast is possible. In case of allergies or intolerances, an alternative can be requested via the same contact details.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, but free parking spaces are available on site.
Dogs are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
