What we will do

The accommodation is situated in Rocca Grimalda (AL). Once you arrive at your destination, you can check in from 2. 00 pm. The property is situated in the Alto Monferrato, an area of rare beauty, dotted with hills, vineyards, wineries and picturesque villages. The historic centre of Rocca Grimalda, in particular, is famous for its Mask Museum and for hosting the Lachera, one of the oldest folk carnivals.

Your accommodation for the night is a Hobbit House, designed to recreate the setting and atmosphere of Tolkien’s stories. As you step into the garden surrounding the property, you’ll feel as though you’ve been welcomed into the Shire, in Middle-earth.

Upon entering the flat through the distinctive rounded doors, you’ll find yourself in a space comprising a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a ‘relaxation grotto’ (a charming room, finished in faux stone, with lights and ivy cascading from the ceiling and the soundtrack from *The Lord of the Rings* playing in the background) . Should you have an extra guest, you can request an additional bed.

The accommodation is very comfortable and will make you feel at home straight away, whatever the weather or season, as it is equipped with running water, electricity and heating. If you’d like to buy something for dinner and eat it on the premises, you can go to the room next to the Hobbit House, which is furnished with tables.

Finally, after a dreamy night in the Hobbit House, you’ll move to the adjoining room, which is set aside for breakfast ( included) . This can be sweet or savoury ( on request) and will include yoghurt, fruit juice, cereal, and cakes or cold cuts, cheese, toast and eggs.

After this pleasant start to the day, you can check out by 10. 30 am and set off on your next adventure!

Who it is aimed at

The stay is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.

Children under the age of 3 who sleep in their parents' bed and do not use breakfast stay free of charge.

The hotel is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.

Other information

Accommodation in the Hobbit House is available all year round, even in bad weather. Check-in is from 14: 00 and check-out no later than 10: 30.

The house has one room with a double bed and a bunk bed and a bathroom with shower. Should there be an extra guest, you can request the addition of a bed. It is also equipped with hot water, electricity and heating. Towels and bed linen are also provided and it can accommodate a maximum of 5 persons. If you are a couple with a small child, you can request a cot.

Please note! The rooms in the accommodation are separated by curtains.

The fee includes a sweet breakfast. By making a request to the host in advance via the contact details on the booking confirmation email, a savoury breakfast is possible. In case of allergies or intolerances, an alternative can be requested via the same contact details.

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, but free parking spaces are available on site.

Dogs are not allowed.
