'There is a little house this small', sang Lucio Dalla. And there really is... in the woods of Garessio, in the province of Cuneo.
Spend a night in the little Humus house , an intimate refuge where every detail invites you to slow down. During the day you can cool off in a small outdoor pool, while at night you lie down under the clear sky, lulled by the sounds of nature.
The ideal place to switch off and disconnect from the world!
What we will do
Check-in is from 3 p.m. at the facility in Garessio (CN). On arrival, you will be welcomed by the hosts Andrea and Clarissa and accompanied to your little house among the trees.
The Humus cottage overlooks Monte Galero, one of the peaks of the Ligurian Alps, and is made of wood, with large glass walls that let in all the light and colours of the forest. Inside you will find a double bed, space to store personal belongings, blankets, power sockets and design objects that give a touch of warmth.
Outside, a small private pool awaits you, perfect for cooling off with a view of the surrounding woods; you can also access the shared swimming pool . If you wish, you can take part in some extra activities organised at the farmhouse (reservation required, to be paid on site), to immerse yourself in the natural rhythms and rediscover ancient crafts and traditions:
- trekking "walking with the sheep" (20€ per person or 35€ with aperitif);
- cheese workshop (25€ per person).
The overnight stay includes a simple breakfast with coffee and biscuits. In addition, it is possible to order a picnic basket with breakfast or an aperitif with local products and a glass of wine (24€ per couple, payable locally).
Check-out is by 11:00 am.

The cottage is designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 adults.
The facility is not wheelchair-accessible.

The stay is available from April to October.

The bathroom, shared with the guests of a second cottage, is about 35 metres away and is equipped with a toilet, shower and washbasin.
Guests have access to the shared, unheated swimming pool of the lodge.
The rate includes a simple breakfast with coffee and biscuits. As an extra, you can request a picnic basket with a more substantial breakfast or aperitif from the contact details given in your booking confirmation email (€24 per couple, payable locally). Remember to report any food allergies and intolerances.
Dogs on a leash are allowed.
The property has free parking and is not accessible by public transport.
In the event of a severe storm, your stay may be cancelled for safety reasons.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
