Full description
Delve into the waters of Catania with anight dive and discover thefascinating underwater life that lurks beneath the surface.
Explore the beautiful seabed enveloped in the silence and darkness of the evening and discover the many animal species that hide during the day, such as squid and seahorses.
Accompanied by experienced instructors, you will dive to different depths, depending on your level, and enjoy anatmospheric experience in a very special setting!
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is at the diving centre at Camping Jonio in Catania, in a beautiful lava stone bay.
Here we will be welcomed by the instructors who will give us an introductory briefing on safety rules and hand us the necessaryequipment for the dive (tank and ballast are included in the participation fee, everything else can be hired separately).
After dressing, via a ladder, we will dive into the dark waters at an initial depth of 6 metres where groups of shrimp and numerous crabs will already be visible. As we continue, we will encounter octopuses, gastropods, seahorses and other creatures that inhabit the Mediterranean seabed.
The dive will take place at a depth of between 10 and 30 metres, depending on the average level of the group.
The activity will last a total of 1.5 hours, of which approximately 45 minutes will be underwater.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is intended for divers holding an OpenWater Diver /AdvancedOpen Water Diver licence.
Other information
Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point approximately 15 minutes in advance.
This activity can be carried out all year round, weather permitting, and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
The tank and ballast are included in the registration fee, while the rest of the equipment can be rented from the diving centre.
Showers and changing rooms are available at the diving centre (in accordance with anti-covid regulations this may be restricted).

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
