Forget your usual playlist of nature sounds and get ready to hear them live. In Entracque, at the foot of the Maritime Alps, a magical night awaits you in a romantic StarsBOX, lulled by the authentic sound of the Gesso stream!
In this special little wooden cabin, you can drift off to sleep whilst gazing at the Milky Way, simply by opening the panoramic roof. When you wake up, a delicious breakfast (included ) will round off your stay perfectly, with the option to add an aperitif or dinner for a truly complete experience!
What we will do
Check-in is from 2. 00 pm at the Vecchio Mulino in Entracque, in the province of Cuneo. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the staff and shown to your accommodation.
You will be staying in one of the six StarsBOXes situated along the Gesso stream, just a short walk from the estate’s restaurant. The structure, built of wood and heated inside, will welcome you with a cosy double bed, power sockets, soft bed linen, bathrobes and slippers. The outdoor bathroom reserved for guests staying in the cabins is located a short distance away in a separate building and is equipped with a shower, toilet, washbasin and hairdryer.
During the day, you can enjoy wonderful walks in the Maritime Alps Park, visit the Uomini e Lupi Wildlife Centre or explore the picturesque Enel dam. If you’d like to cool off in the summer heat, there’s also an outdoor swimming pool nearby, accessible for a fee (not included) .
In the evening, you can treat yourself to a traditional aperitif or a romantic à la carte dinner ( not included) at the Vecchio Mulino Restaurant, available as extra services. After sunset, you’ll experience the most magical moment: simply open the wooden roof to gaze at the starry sky before drifting off to sleep.
When you wake up, a generous breakfast (included) awaits you; you can order it the evening before by selecting your favourite dishes from a selection of cold cuts, eggs, crêpes, or cappuccino and brioche. Check-out is by 10. 00 am the following morning.
Who it is aimed at
The StarsBOX is designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 adults. Young children up to the age of 6–8 can stay free of charge when sharing the double bed with their parents.
Due to two steps at the entrance, the property is not wheelchair accessible.

The experience is available all year round, every day. Check-in is from 2. 00 pm (until around 8. 00 pm) .
The StarsBOX accommodation has a shared external bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet, washbasin, toiletries and a hairdryer, located just a short walk away in a separate building.

Dogs are allowed at no extra charge.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
