If the desert is too far away but you don’t want to miss out on its tranquillity, you’ll be pleased to know that hidden amongst the centuries-old olive trees of the Tuscan Maremma lies a glamping tent furnished in an oriental style, where you can experience the atmosphere of the Sahara.
Included in your stay is a lavish picnic aperitif with local wine, and you can also enjoy the panoramic infinity pool. The accommodation can be booked for 1 night or 2 nights: the choice is entirely yours!
What we will do
Check-in is from 3. 00 pm in Roccastrada, in the province of Grosseto. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the staff and shown to your accommodation.
You will be staying in the 20 m² Sahara Dune tent, made of cream-coloured canvas and featuring oriental rugs, an armchair and a 1. 80 m double bed. The tent boasts a private outdoor kitchen equipped with a three-burner hob and running water.
During the hottest part of the day, you can relax in the stunning infinity pool with unobstructed views across the Maremma countryside all the way to the sea. On site, you can book additional activities: a pasta-making class with a local Maremma chef, outdoor yoga sessions or massage treatments (not included) .
In the evening, you’ll enjoy a delicious aperitif and light supper in a picnic basket ( included) , ready to be savoured on your private veranda with wine and local delicacies.
Check-out is by 10. 00 am the following morning.
Who it is aimed at
The accommodation is designed for adult couples. The tent can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child: any additional children sleep on an extra single bed at a cost of €15 per night; children under 3 years of age stay in their parents’ bed free of charge.
The accommodation is not wheelchair accessible.

Accommodation is available from May to October. Check-in is from 3. 00 pm until 7. 00 pm: please contact the property using the details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know your arrival time. Late check-out is available at a cost of €10. 00 per person; access to the communal areas is available until 12. 00.
Important: the accommodation has a private outdoor bathroom located a short walk away in the central wooden building, complete with a toilet, washbasin and hot outdoor shower.

Dogs are not permitted inside the accommodation.
The property cannot be reached by public transport; free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
