Who said that only children can fulfil the dream of sleeping in a tree house?
In the picturesque scenery of the Madonie Park, in the province of Palermo, you can stay in a real tree house, equipped with every comfort and surrounded by greenery.
In addition, you can have fun trying all the outdoor activities provided by the park's instructors and enjoy a delicious breakfast of sweet and savoury dishes. Get ready for a night to remember!
What we will do
Check-in is from 15:00 at a campsite inside the Madonie Park in Petralia Sottana (PA).
You will be welcomed by the staff and accompanied to your tree house, which will be a few metres above the ground. The staff will show you all the services you can enjoy during your stay, including a private bathroom with shower, a panoramic terrace, a mini bar, air conditioning, common areas with power sockets, Wi-Fi, equipped picnic areas, a barbecue area, and a snack bar.
Once you have packed your bags in the tree house, you can take a look around. The area, in fact, deserves to be admired for the variety of plant species that characterise it and which have earned it the title of UNESCO Geopark. In addition to the beautiful scenery, the park also offers the opportunity to try your hand at a range of outdoor activities such as acrobatic courses through the trees, climbing, orienteering, archery and PowerFan. If you wish, you can try them all (service included) together with the instructors who will welcome you.
Come the evening, you can enjoy the wonderful quiet that will surround you and admire the starry sky as you relax on the panoramic terrace of your tree house. It will be a pleasant moment, allowing you to be in touch with nature and create precious memories.
Finally, a delicious breakfast buffet (included) with sweet and savoury products to suit all tastes will await you in the morning!

Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 may participate if accompanied by a responsible adult. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge: to indicate their presence, please contact the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
The Terrace on the Lake accommodation is accessible to wheelchair users or those with reduced mobility, while the Rifugio nel Bosco accommodation is not.
Other information
Accommodation is available from March to December and a minimum of 2 adult participants is required. Check-in will be available from 15:00. Check-out is until 10:00 a.m.
Please note! When booking, it will be possible to select:
- The tree house Rifugio nel Bosco (maximum 5 guests). Accessible via external staircase with handrail and railing.
- The tree house Terrace on the Lake (maximum 4 guests). Accessible via external walkway.
Both houses are elevated above the ground and can be reached via stairs or walkways. They are equipped with a private bathroom with shower, bedroom, panoramic terrace, bathroom and bed linen, mini bar, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. They do not have a kitchen. A cot is available on request. Dogs are allowed on payment of an extra charge of €35 on site.
At the campsite there is a reception desk, common areas with power sockets, picnic areas, a barbecue area, and a snack bar open from 8:30 to 21:30. Guests can make their own arrangements for meals but cannot eat in the tree houses. It is also possible to order a mixed meat roast at a cost of €20 per person, or a fast food menu at €9 per person, payable directly on site.
Breakfast is included in the price and will be served from 8.30am. It will include both a sweet and savoury buffet, with croissants, cakes, biscuits, yoghurt, cold meats and cheeses. Options for people with food allergies and intolerances are available: please contact the hotel using the contact details in your booking confirmation email to request these.
On site, you can enjoy the outdoor activities offered by the campsite and included in the fee, including acrobatic courses in the trees, climbing, orienteering, archery and PowerFan. In order to participate, it is possible to organise yourself on site with the instructors.
Free, unattended parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
