Get ready to take a trip back to the 1970s!
In the heart of the Sardinian countryside, in Escolca, a night in a vintage caravan nestled amongst the olive trees awaits you – a place where time seems to have stood still.
The authentic flavours of Sardinia will make the experience even more special: a breakfast featuring local specialities and , if you’d like, a picnic at sunset.
You don’t need a car to travel back in time – just a vintage caravan!
What we will do
Check-in is scheduled for around 6. 00 pm at the Escolca (SU) venue.
You will then be shown to your vintage caravan, a carefully restored retro-style caravan set amongst the greenery. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable bed with bed linen provided and a bathroom; there’s no electricity, but solar-powered lighting is available. Outside, you’ll find a lovely little spot with a dining table, towels and cushions for relaxing, and a solar-powered shower.
As the sun begins to set and it’s time for dinner, you can request a picnic (not included) featuring Sardinian tapas, a bottle of local wine and a selection of flavoured olive oils. You can enjoy this in the comfort of the garden whilst taking in the spectacular views.
The night will be a true journey back in time. No noise, no distractions: just the starry sky above you and the magic of an experience from a bygone era; whilst in the morning, a breakfast featuring typical Sardinian produce will be prepared for you.
Check-out is by 10. 00 am. If you wish, you can spend a little more time in this magical place, visiting the olive farm to discover the different methods of oil extraction and, why not, sample some other delicious products!
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The Bosana Caravan is designed to accommodate a maximum of 4 adults (or 2 adults + 2 children). Children 0-7 years old do not pay.

The stay is bookable from April to September, every day except Wednesday.

The property is difficult to reach by public transport; free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
