Spend a night in a yurt nestled amongst the woods in Pianoro – a comfortable and spacious place to stay surrounded by nature. Whether it’s a romantic getaway for two or an adventure for the whole family, you’ll come away with plenty of wonderful memories!
And don’t forget to choose the breakfast option to start your day with a sweet burst of energy!
What we will do
Check-in is from 2. 00 pm at the property in Pianoro (BO). You’ll be welcomed by your hosts, Roberto and Maddalena, who are ready to make your stay in the hills of Bologna unforgettable!
You’ll be staying in a traditional yurt – the famous circular Mongolian tent – with an internal floor area of around 50 square metres, featuring a futon bed with a mosquito net, an armchair, a one-and-a-half-berth sofa bed, a table and some furnishings to ensure maximum relaxation. There are power sockets inside the yurt.
You’ll also have access to a shared kitchen, equipped with an electric hob, coffee machine, fridge, microwave, kettle and sink. You can cook for yourself or, if you prefer, head to one of the local restaurants.
The bathroom, shared with other guests at the property, is located about 50 metres from the yurt and is fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. There is also a second outdoor dry toilet (compost toilet) available. Bed linen, towels, soap and a hairdryer are provided by the host.
At the property, you can make use of the barbecue ( €20 extra, including firewood and/or charcoal) , cool off in the above-ground swimming pool shared with other guests, hire e-bikes or go for a walk along one of the many trails that wind through the hills.
When booking, you can also select the ‘breakfast included’ option for a sweet start to the day: the picnic basket includes home-made plant-based milk, home-baked bread, fresh, oven-warm croissants, jam, fruit juice and other treats.
Check-out is required by 12: 00 the following day.
Who it is aimed at
The accommodation is ideal for a couple, but can accommodate larger groups on request: €40 per additional adult, €20 for young people aged 11 to 18, and free for children up to 10 years old. You can inform the host of any additional guests after your booking has been confirmed and pay their fee on arrival. The option including breakfast costs an extra €10 per person.
The property is not accessible to people with mobility impairments.
Other information
The stay is available from April to October. In the event of bad weather, the stay may still go ahead at the host’s discretion.

Dogs are allowed for an additional charge of €10 per night.

Free on-site parking is available, with the option to charge your electric car for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport: from the bus stop, there is an uphill walk of approximately 800 metres, which is not recommended if you are carrying luggage; please contact the host using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to request a free lift to the bus stop.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
