Enjoy anexclusive and relaxing experience in the beautiful Florentine hills, immerse yourself in an atmosphere of bygone times and explore Europe's largest botanical park in Maiano in Fiesole (FI) in an off-road vehicle.
Situated in the rolling Tuscan hills, with its hundreds of hectares of olive trees and other plantations, stone quarries, romantic ponds, grazing animals, flowers and orchards, this place is a veritable concentration of beauty.
After the tour, stretch out on the lawn for a tasty picnic with wholesome products from the estate and its immediate surroundings and continue the day wandering around the park for as long as you like!
What we will do
We will meet at Fattoria di Maiano in Fiesole (FI). After a welcome and an introductory briefing, we will board the off-road vehicle together with the driver who will take us on tour. We will explore the park far and wide, among the paths that run alongside the olive groves and the animals enjoying the sun and nature.
We will observe the stone quarries used in the Renaissance for the famous Florentine architecture and take a tour of the romantic English garden embellished by the Laghetto delle Colonne. The guide will tell us all the secrets and curiosities of the place, taking us to the most suggestive spots to enjoy the view and glimpses of Florence.
After about 1.5 hours of off-road tour, we will be given a picnic basket with typical Tuscan products and a bottle of Chianti that we will be free to enjoy under the shade of a tree. After that, we can stay in the park for as long as we like, wandering freely among its paths.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
