What can make a day in Sardinia truly unforgettable?
A boat tour, of course!
Set off from Alghero and sail past sheer cliffs, sea caves and golden sandy coves that can only be reached by sea. Take a dip in the beautiful bay of Capo Galera and explore theProtected Marine Area of Porto Conte until you reach Capo Caccia.
And between dives, snorkelling and water activities, don't miss the included lunch on board!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before departure on the Alghero waterfront, where the crew will be waiting for us. Once all participants have settled on board, we will set sail at 10:00 heading for Capo Galera, where we will make our first bathing stop of about 20-30 minutes.
We will then head towards Cala Dragunara, which will welcome us with its golden sandy bay and scenic natural steps. The stop here will be enlivened by an aperitif with chips and drinks and the opportunity to do various water activities of your choice, such as SUP and kayaking.
Arriving at lunchtime, we will instead move to nearby Cala Bollo, where the crew will surprise us with a rich buffet: stuffed flatbreads for all tastes and an assortment of packaged delicacies, accompanied by cold drinks and water (alcohol not included).
After lunch we will set sail again, this time to round the imposing Capo Caccia cliff, skirting the marvellous Grotta di Nettuno (Neptune's Cave), and reach theisland of Foradada. Here, a second dive awaits us to explore unexplored seabeds.
The tour will continue to Cala Inferno, where the turquoise waters and amphitheatre-shaped cliffs will be the setting for our third and final swimming stop of the day. For those who wish, masks are available on board for snorkelling.
Finally, we will reach the final stop: the Grotta dei Palombi (Grotto of the Pigeons), a hidden jewel of the Foradada Island, so called because of the natural tunnel that pierces it, creating an almost surreal setting. We will enter by boat to embrace all its majestic beauty with our gaze.
Return to Alghero is scheduled by 18:00, for a total duration of about 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is open to all, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Children up to 1 year old participate free of charge.
The boat is accessible to persons with mobility disabilities. It is only recommended to contact the staff before departure to ensure perfect organisation.
Other information
The activity is held from March to November, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.
The Tursuit 300 off-shore Sport Fisherman boat is 9.30 metres long and 3.80 metres wide. All the comforts for pleasant sailing are available on board, including hot water shower, toilet with shower, sink and refrigerator. Not only that, there is a sunbathing area with seating for 12 at the stern, while on the roof at the bow there is another large area for comfortable sunbathing.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
Aperitif and lunch are included in the participation fee. In the event of food intolerances or allergies, it is possible to arrange with the organiser for specific food to be prepared (you will receive contact details by e-mail with your booking confirmation).
During the tour, the staff on board provide snorkelling masks, SUP boards, kayaks and a GoPro for taking photos and videos. At the end of the excursion, the staff makes a montage of all the material as a souvenir of the day. The GoPro service is included in the tour fee.
