Full description
Enjoy a day on a boat discovering the inlets and caves that characterise the coast of Lampedusa.
The skipper will show you the most beautiful spots, from Cala Pulcino to Cala Creta, from Baia dell'Acqua Dolce to Tabaccara. The latter will amaze you with the crystal-clear colour of the water that creates a very special effect: the boats seem to be suspended above the water as if they were flying.
During the excursion there are 4-5 bathroom stops at points chosen according to the weather and sea conditions. You can take a dip in the most beautiful coves and enjoy a tasty seafood lunch on board.
What we will do
We’ll meet up 15 minutes before the scheduled time in Lampedusa, where the boat we’ll be sailing on all day will be waiting for us. The day’s programme includes a wonderful tour to explore the island’s coves and caves.
The detailed itinerary will be decided by the skipper based on the weather and sea conditions. We’ll be sure to stop at the famous cove known as Tabaccara, whose name derives from a cave in the cliff where cigars and tobacco were once sold. The water in this cove is so clear that the boats seem to be suspended, as if they were skimming the surface.
Whilst sailing, as well as steering the boat and taking us to the most beautiful spots, the skipper will also share lots of interesting facts about Lampedusa and its coastline.
We’ll discover Cala Pulcino, with its white seabed and azure water streaked with green. And then on to Baia dell’Acqua Dolce, Muro Vecchio, Cala Creta and Cala Francese. The tour includes 4–5 swimming stops, each lasting around 50 minutes. This will give us the chance to dive straight from the boat and enjoy the crystal-clear water, surrounded by stunning scenery.
The day will be made even more enjoyable by a delicious lunch on board. The menu features seafood starters and selected local specialities, followed by a first course, accompanied by drinks, coffee and our own home-made fennel liqueur.
We’ll return to the starting point after about 7 hours at sea.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children up to the age of 3 participate free of charge: notify the skipper of their presence after booking confirmation.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The excursion takes place from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 8 participants.
The itinerary may vary depending on the weather and sea conditions on the day.
The boat is 12.50 metres long and 4 metres wide, with ample room on the canopy with cushions, a shaded area for lunch, a toilet and a shower.
In the case of participants with food allergies and intolerances (including coeliacs) please contact the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to allow for variations to the lunch menu.
Small dogs are allowed on board (max. 1 per person).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
