Full description
Do you want to go to Alghero in the company of a beautiful sailboat? We have the excursion for you!
Set sail for a one-day sailing tour in the beautiful Gulf of Alghero: buoyed by the wind, we will sail from Capo Galera to Capo Caccia, passing through Cala Dragunara and other coves we choose along the way.
The tour includes 3 swimming stops with snorkelling and an excellent Sardinian lunch to be enjoyed on board: myrtle is included, of course!
What we will do
We will meet in Alghero (SS), 15 minutes before the time indicated during the booking.
After meeting the skipper and boarding our sailboat, we will be ready to begin our adventure in the sea of Sardinia.
With unfurled sails (wind permitting) we will head towards Capo Galera, a rocky promontory on the Coral Riviera, where we will make an initial half-hour swim stop.
After that we will head for Capo Caccia, which is about 50 minutes away, sailing or motoring. Again depending on the wind, we will choose whether to anchor in Cala Dragunara or in another cove, the site of our lunch stop of about two hours. On board, we will be served an appetiser with typical products such as sausage, cheese and olives and a first course, accompanied by water, wine, coffee and myrtle.
Once lunch is over, we will head back to Alghero, not without first enjoying a last swim in a destination chosen according to weather and sea conditions.
We will then say goodbye after a 7½-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone from 4 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The activity takes place daily from May to August with a minimum of four participants.
The boat is a 10-metre sailboat, equipped with awning, freshwater shower, toilet, life jackets, refrigerator, a SUP at the participants' disposal and snorkelling equipment.
Do you have food allergies or intolerances? Please inform the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
It is possible to bring small dogs on board, but you must contact the skipper in advance to check whether the other participants agree.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport or by car, with a large car park nearby.
