Full description
Fun is just a paddle away! Climb aboard a kayak and sail to discover Lake Varese, paddling through the wild reed beds where many animal species find shelter.
Observe nature up close and spend an hour of sport and relaxation in the company of an expert instructor. Thefinal aperitif will be the perfect conclusion to this adventure!
What we will do
The appointment will be 15 minutes before the selected time at Lake Varese (VA).
The activity will begin with dressing up and a lesson on land held by theinstructor to learn the correct paddling movements and the basic concepts for navigating safely.
We will then board the kayaks and begin our tour of Lake Varese, discovering the hidden corners and wild nature that characterises this Lombardy basin. Skirting the Zanzi Park, we will penetrate through the reeds where, with a bit of luck, we will be able to spot various animal species, including migratory birds that stop in this area to nest.
Arriving in Capolago, we will cross to the other side of the lake to paddle in front of the port of Azzate; from here we will return to the starting point, for a total of about 4 km.
At the end of the tour an aperitif overlooking the lake awaits us with a platter of cold cuts, cheese, bread and a beer per person (or non-alcoholic drink). A worthy conclusion to our adventure!
The activity will last a total of 1 .5 hours, including 1 hour of kayaking.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and suitable for everyone from 10 years upwards. Minors must be accompanied on site by a responsible adult.
No previousexperience is required, only good physical condition and no fear of water.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to October.
Single and double kayaks and canoes are available.
Changing rooms and a locker room for personal belongings are available at the meeting point, while showers are available at a separate location a short distance away.

Dogs may participate in this activity, provided they are socialised; if you wish to bring your four-legged friend, please inform the guide in advance.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport from the centre of Varese; there is free parking on site.
