It has glass walls but it is not a greenhouse, it rocks you on the water but it is not a boat, you find it on the lake but it never touches land. What is it? !
But a houseboat, of course! This unusual accommodation, located in Porto Ceresio (VA) gives you the chance to experience a unique adventure, in close contact with nature but without giving up all the comforts of a hotel stay.

What we will do
Check-in is from 16: 00 at the houseboat in Porto Ceresio, in the province of Varese. You will be able to check in yourself using the convenient safety deposit box located at the entrance of the structure and, once inside, you will be greeted by a magical atmosphere, as every detail of this structure is designed to enhance the link with the aquatic element.
Inside, you will find a large living room with panoramic windows and a bedroom furnished with tatami mats and futons, perfect for experiencing the floating effect in total relaxation. You will also find a break corner with a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle and a microwave for your downtime and a bathroom with a shower overlooking the lake.
The house is an extraordinary piece of work, blending perfectly with the surrounding nature, and a self-contained unit, powered by photovoltaic panels and micro-wind power. Resources are therefore limited and you will be encouraged to use them sparingly, as well as implementing a number of precautions such as using bio-degradable detergents (included) .
And if you have the strength to part with this magnificent floating creation for a few hours, you can explore the centre of the village, only 850 metres away, or stroll along the lakefront among ice-cream parlours and typical restaurants. Alternatively, you can use the boat to visit the neighbouring villages!
Check-out is by 11: 00 the following morning.
Who it is aimed at
The stay is reserved for adults, up to a maximum of 4 persons (as stated in the booking box) . In the presence of adults, children and young people may also stay at the accommodation. Children up to the age of 2 do not pay. From 3 years of age and up, they are considered guests in their own right and pay the full rate.
The facility is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The experience is available from April to mid-November. Check-in is from 16: 00 and check-out by 11: 00. A tourist tax of 1€ per person (children under 14 years are exempt) is payable on site (in cash) .
Small dogs are allowed (maximum two) subject to a final cleaning fee of €30 to be paid in cash on site.
The property is easily accessible by public transport; there is no private parking on site, but there is a pay car park about 350 metres away at a cost of 4€ per day.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
