Who said you need a closed cinema and the air conditioning cranked up to the max to enjoy a good film?
Come and experience a magical evening at our open-air cinema with a picnic dinner in the stunning, unspoilt setting of the Tuscan Maremma.
A fabulous basket full of appetisers and local delicacies awaits you, to be enjoyed whilst lying on the grass in total relaxation, waiting for the sun to set and make way for a big screen under the stars. Your front-row seat is already waiting for you!
What we will do
We’ll meet at 8. 00 pm at the meeting point in Civitella Paganico (GR). On arrival, the staff there will hand us our picnic basket and invite us to make ourselves comfortable as the evening gets underway.
We’ll settle down on the lawn to enjoy finger food featuring seasonal nibbles, breadsticks, taralli, cold cuts and savoury tarts. To keep us refreshed , there’ll be water and organic apple juice, accompanied, of course, by fragrant popcorn and a sweet treat to finish.
We’ll wait for the sun to set for about an hour, enjoying the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside. As soon as it is perfectly dark, the film screening will begin and will run in its entirety without any interruptions or intervals. The weekly rotating programme varies between comedies, historical films, cartoons and fantasy films (details of the titles can be requested from the venue) .
During the evening, anyone wishing to do so may request and purchase the following on site for an additional charge: popcorn refills, a glass or bottle of wine, chilled beers, coffee and after-dinner drinks.
The experience will last approximately 3 hours in total.

The activity is suitable for everyone aged 9 and over; children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The experience can be booked from June to September on the dates shown on the calendar and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.
The film programme rotates weekly, alternating between comedies, historical films, cartoons and gripping fantasy films. Pets are not permitted.
The menu is designed as a proper finger-food-style picnic, hearty and informal. In your private basket, you’ll find plenty of delicious treats that vary with the season: local cold cuts and cheeses with breadsticks and taralli, tasty savoury tarts, water, organic apple juice and, for the screening, there’ll be popcorn and a sweet treat to finish. A vegetarian or vegan menu option is available on request; to request this or to inform us of any food intolerances or allergies, please contact the venue well in advance using the contact details you will receive via email with your booking confirmation.
The venue cannot be reached by public transport; free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
