Full description
If you want to find yourself. .. first you must have the courage to get lost!
With this 3. 5-hour orienteering experience in Alta Val Seriana you will test your sense of direction and learn how to use useful tools such as topographic maps and a compass. Finally, you will take part in a competition to try and win a final prize.
A fun activity, perfect for challenging your friends!
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before the time selected on the calendar at the meeting point in Lizzola (BG). Awaiting us will be the guide who will accompany us on this exciting challenge through the alpine paths.
After an initial welcome and a fun ice-breaking game, we will take a walk of about 10 minutes to reach the activity location. Here the guide will hand us topographic maps and give us a theoretical lesson of about 1 hour on orientation: we will learn how to read maps of the area and how to use the compass correctly so that we never lose our bearings.
Once the basics have been learnt, the real race will begin: participants will set off 10 minutes apart in search of 5 lanterns hidden in the village and surrounding green areas. We will have to put into practice what we have learnt, sharpen our eyesight in the woods and find all the checkpoints in the shortest possible time.
It will be a dynamic walk, where each choice will bring us closer to the finish line (or further away, if we misread the compass! ). At the end of the challenge, we will gather for a moment of confrontation and to find out who will have won the final prize thanks to the best time recorded.
Finally, we will walk back to our starting point, satisfied with the experience we have just had!
The activity will last a total of 3. 5 hours.
