Imagine being with the person you love looking at the stars. Now make a wish and then, turn it into reality!
In the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, Fattoria la Maliosa is ready to host you and your partner in one of its magical StarsBoxes, wooden micro-huts with opening roofs inspired by bivouacs, offering a view of the starry sky far from any source of light pollution.
You will experience a magical night sharing a romantic getaway perfect for those who, like you, love nature!
What we will do
Check-in is from 16: 30 to 18: 00 at Podere Monte Cavallo in Saturnia (GR), a 160-hectare estate surrounded by olive groves and vineyards.
On arrival you will be given a picnic basket inside which you will find: a bottle of natural red wine; a selection of local cold meats and cheeses; sliced Tuscan bread; organic EVO olive oil from our own production; artisan biscuits; mineral water; fresh fruit in season; tableware and corkscrew. Vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives are available on request.
So you will have everything you need to enjoy a rich aperitif at sunset with a view of the Tuscan hills!
After the toast, you will be free to spend the evening as you prefer, visiting one of the surrounding villages or relaxing at the nearby thermal baths of Saturnia, or simply enjoying the peace of the Grosseto Maremma.
It will be at night , however, that you will witness the real spectacle: just open the roof of your StarsBOX, lie down on the soft tatami and look up to enjoy a starry sky like you have never seen before.

Who it is aimed at
The starsBOX are designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 adults.
The experience is suitable for everyone; children under 18 can participate accompanied by an adult.
The facility is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
Attention! In the event of bad weather, the experience will be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice.
The experience is available from March to September.
Once you have reached the meeting point , you will be given directions to your own StarsBOX by car. There are dirt and uneven roads along the route, caution is advised.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
The StarsBOXes are not equipped with water and electricity, but do have a chemical toilet (no sink, no shower) .
Dogs are allowed inside the StarsBOXes.
If you have food allergies and/or intolerances, or if you would like a vegetarian or vegan picnic basket , please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to forward your request.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
