We await you for a boat tour in the Stagnone Lagoon, where an ancient road rests beneath the surface of the water, a silent witness to the passage of Phoenician chariots to the island of Mothia.
Climb aboard for a 1. 5-hour panoramic tour that will take you back in time!
What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Marsala (TP). The reception staff at the salt pans will direct us to the boat with crew, to begin this excursion to discover the Stagnone Lagoon!
Having cast off the moorings, we will begin our panoramic navigation in the lagoon. We will circumnavigate the island of Mozia, an ancient Phoenician colony founded in the 8th century BC and an important commercial and strategic centre in the ancient world.
Letting ourselves be lulled by the calm waters of the lagoon, we will listen to the captain's explanations of the millenary history of these places. The highlight of the excursion will be the sighting of the submerged Punic-Phoenician Road , which connected Mozia with the mainland and is still visible in the shallowest stretches of water.
We will conclude the tour by returning to the starting point. The activity will last a total of 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The experience is not recommended for women in an advanced state of pregnancy.
The boat is accessible by wheelchair and to persons with reduced mobility.

The activity takes place from April to September and is confirmed with a minimum number of 8 participants.
The boat used may vary: it will be a motor boat between 6 and 8 metres long, equipped with a cover to shelter from the sun and benches for sitting.
Small dogs are welcome on board.
Free parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
