Full description
Before it gets lost among the profiles of the Orobic Pre-Alps, where they fade into the blue sky, the eye encounters a marvellous and imposing terrace.
A ring of mighty bastions that for centuries have surrounded a treasure chest full of art and culture. Bergamo and its walls welcome those arriving from the plains.
We will accompany you on a wonderful ebike excursion to discover its treasures: through the alleys of the Upper City and the winding streets of the Parco dei Colli.
This activity is suitable for everyone, sporty or not, and no experience with ebikes is required; we will provide you with all the necessary information to learn how to ride pedal-assisted bikes in total safety!
What we will do
Riding our Ebikes (rental is included in the price!) we will pedal 35 km to discover the wonders of one of the oldest cities in Italy. A scenic tour that offers pleasure and fun without too much effort!
We will ride around the hills of Bergamo outside the Old Town, passing through the Allegrezza forest and the Benaglia hill, to the Val d'Astino with its monastery (built as far back as 1107 by Vallombrosian monks) and then visit the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Sombreno, located on the extreme western spur of the Bergamo Hills.
At the foot of the Colli it will be possible to visit the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Castagna and the Parco dei Colli all the way into the city. Here we will visit the Piazza Vecchia, the Duomo, Santa Maria Maggiore and the Lavatoio Antico. We will conclude the excursion by passing by the Rocca and the Castle of San Virgilio, the last outpost guarding Bergamo and its territory.
The excursion will last four to five hours and you will be accompanied by one or more certified and nationally recognised mountain bike guides.
We will begin with a brief introduction on how the excursion will unfold and then we will start pedalling in complete safety.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is absolutely safe and accessible. Everyone can participate, from families to the elderly, and especially those who want to discover the city by pedalling without exerting any effort.
The minimum age is 8 years when accompanied by an adult.

The activity can be booked all year round, in the morning or afternoon, for groups of 2 to 20 people.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
