Gallinara Island is stunning when viewed from the coast, but if you could fly over it at just 100 metres, you’d get some truly unique photos to take home. With this introductory flight, you can do just that!
On board a four-seater aeroplane, sitting alongside an experienced instructor, you won’t just be admiring the view: during the flight, you’ll also get to experience the thrill of taking the controls and flying the aeroplane in complete safety, enjoying the experience from a truly special perspective!
What we will do
We’ll meet in Villanova d’Albenga (SV), at the agreed meeting point. The pilot who will be accompanying us during the experience will be waiting for us there.
First of all, we’ll make our way to the aircraft chosen for the activity. It’s a four-seater aircraft (including the instructor) . During the introductory briefing, the instructor will explain how the aircraft works and, during the experience, we’ll have the chance to experience the thrill of flying it for a few minutes under his constant supervision.
Once on board, all we’ll have to do is relax and keep our eyes peeled so as not to miss a single second of the view. It will be a 30-minute introductory flight, accompanied by the adrenaline rush of flying right over the sea.
During the experience, we’ll fly over Gallinara Island, the town of Alassio, and Capo Mele with its Italian Air Force base, and we’ll fall in love with the view of the Ligurian Riviera from above. We’ll head as far as Imperia, before turning round and returning to our starting point. If we’re very lucky, we might even spot pods of dolphins!
At the end of the flight, we’ll receive a certificate of participation – the perfect memento of an experience that will have allowed us to see Liguria… and, for a few moments, to live out the dream of flying a plane.
The total duration of the experience, including the briefing, is approximately 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone aged 8 years and over and weighing less than 115 kg. Children under the age of 18 may participate without the presence of a responsible adult, subject to signing a parental release form.

The activity takes place every day of the year.
Important: flying is an activity that is heavily dependent on weather conditions. The pilot will contact you 2 or 3 days before the scheduled date of the activity to confirm the exact time and whether the flight can go ahead.
The aircraft used for the activity is a 4-seater microlight (including the pilot).
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
