Rome from above is not the same Rome. It is more majestic, more exciting and... all for you!
Climb aboard a private helicopter and in 30 minutes you'll enjoy the Eternal City as you've never seen it before, and then push on beyond to the blue of Lake Bracciano and the charm of Anguillara.
An experienced pilot is at the controls, you will just have to enjoy moment by moment this incredible experience!
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is atRome Urbe Airport (or at Castelnuovo di Porto, to be confirmed by the pilot a day or two before the activity).
The experience begins with an introductory briefing together with the pilot, who will explain all the rules of behaviour and safety to be observed in the air. Afterwards, we will board thehelicopter and prepare to take off for a 30-minute scenic flight.
During the flight, we will admire the Eternal City and its monuments from a new perspective (without flying over them, as there is a ban on overflying these places). We will head towards the Olympic Stadium and then admire the Vatican and theAltare della Patria from the side.
The flight will then continue northwards, flying over the Auditorium and Villa Ada Park in the direction of Lake Bracciano. Here we will admire the natural landscape of the Roman countryside and the medieval village of Anguillara Sabazia, which overlooks the shores of the lake, before returning to the starting point.
Considering the preparation time, the activity will last about 45 minutes in total.

This activity is open to everyone from 5 years of age.
The maximum weight allowed is 100 kg per passenger.

This activity can be booked all year round and is intended for private groups of a maximum of 3 participants.
A few days before the activity, you will receive confirmation of the flight from the pilot, depending on the weather and other conditions necessary to ensure the activity is carried out safely, and the meeting place, which can be either Roma Urbe or Castelnuovo di Porto.
Warning. During the flight, you will not fly over the monuments mentioned in the city, as there is a ban on overflying, but you will still be able to admire them from the helicopter.
We recommend that you carry your passport (for foreign citizens) or identity card (for Italian citizens). In addition to this, foreign citizens must send a copy of their passport to the organisers before the flight, to the contact details given in the booking confirmation email.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
