I have been riding a quad bike in the Monferrato hills since 1992, and 10 years ago I thought I would share these wonderful places surrounded by nature with excursions. I obtained the CSEN quad bike instructor's certificate, recognised by CONI, to ride safely.

Full description
Visiting Monferrato by quad means totally immersing yourself in the nature, greenery and trails of one of the most popular tourist areas in Italy, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014.
The lush hills with their brilliant colours, the scents of nature, and the flavours of the local food and wine tradition make this corner of Piedmont a real jewel to be discovered, capable of offering different emotions in all seasons.
On board the quad bike you will live an experience that combines a passion for motors with a relaxing excursion in the countryside, among vineyards, orchards, woods, hills and lots of fun!
You will roar into the woods, cross meadows and tackle the dust and mud of dirt tracks in a mainly off-road itinerary, alternating adrenalin rushes with pleasant moments of relaxation among the fields and ancient villages of Monferrato.

What we will do
The meeting point for our quad bike excursion is in Vignale Monferrato, a picturesque village in the province of Alessandria perched on one of the typical hills that characterise the landscape of this area.
Here we will get to know the guides and, before setting off, we will have a briefing of about 30 minutes on the characteristics of the route, the controls of the quad bikes, and the safety rules to be maintained during the activity. If necessary, there will be a test drive to familiarise ourselves with the vehicle, and then... ready to go!
We will follow an itinerary that winds around Vignale Monferrato and nearby villages. We will pass through woods, vineyards, orchards and hazelnut groves and, if the season is right, we may stop to pick fruit directly from the trees!
We may also come across some examples of the rich local fauna: roe deer, wild boar, birds of prey and other friends of the forest...be careful not to rev our engines too much when we spot one!
Lots of fun in the dusty and muddy sections too, where you can test your skills as a real off-road quad rider!
During the excursion there will be several scenic stops and a stop to recharge your batteries with a good aperitif (included in the participation fee). During these breaks, you can take turns driving with a passenger.
The activity lasts a total of 2½ hours, of which about 2 hours on board the quad bike.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is ideal for those who are already familiar with riding quad bikes, but it is also open to beginners, who will receive the necessary support from the instructors.
A B licence is required to drive the quad bike, while the minimum age to participate as a passenger is 5 years.
Other information
Attention. It is necessary to arrive at the meeting place at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
This activity is bookable from March to December, subject to weather conditions and guide availability, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 3 quads.
Important: the fee does not include the association membership fee of €5 per person (to be paid on site).
In the event of time variations due to weather or organisational requirements of the guides, you will be notified before the activity.
The centre has 7 quads, each of which can carry 2 people, for a total of 14 participants. The fee of €90 refers to the driver of the quad bike, while the fee for the passenger is €30 (the two can possibly swap driving halfway through the tour). When booking, you can select the number of drivers and passengers.
Passengers aged 5 to 12 years can participate in the excursion at the reduced price of €10, payable locally.
The rental of the vehicle requires a security deposit and the completion of a liability release form, to be signed on site. The organisers may therefore ask you for a deposit of 250€ or more (preferably in cash and which may vary depending on the number of quads booked).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
