Full description
Switch off the routine and turn on the adrenaline: ride a quad bike through the wild landscapes of Gallipoli!
During this one-and-a-half-hour tour you'll get your fill of dust, views and freedom, guided by someone who knows these trails by heart. Helmet on head and eyes open: you are about to cross paths that Google Maps hardly knows!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Gallipoli (LE). Awaiting us will be the guide, ready to provide us with all the information necessary to ride the quad bike safely.
After the introductory briefing, helmets will be distributed and we will be ready to go! We will begin the tour by heading towards old, disused quarries, where nature mixes with history. We will then continue along dirt tracks through the Mediterranean maquis, breathing in the essence of this land.
We will continue through countryside dotted with isolated trulli, an authentic symbol of Apulian tradition, until we approach the sea at Gallipoli, where the blue of the water contrasts with the red of the land.
Along the way we will make 2 panoramic stops of about 10-15 minutes, ideal for taking a few photos or simply relaxing in the midst of nature.
We will conclude the hike by returning to the starting point after covering about 8 km on asphalt and dirt roads. The activity will last about 1.5 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 16 years old and hold an A1 or B licence. The passenger must be at least 8 years old.
The excursion is of an easy-medium level and suitable for a first time quad rider.
Other information
The excursion is available from April to October.
The price is per quad; each quad can carry 1 driver or 1 driver and 1 passenger (2 persons). The organiser has 7 two-seater quads available for a total of 14 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
