Full description
Brace yourself, you are about to take the most exciting flight of your life!
This experience on board an ultralight aircraft will take you over the landscapes of Lake Orta, in Piedmont, giving you 60 minutes of pure magic.
The pilot at your side will open the doors of aviation to you: under his watchful eye, you will also experience the thrill of taking the controls during the flight. Magnificent views and adrenalin rush, what more could you want?
What we will do
We will meet at the avioclub in Montalto Dora (TO), 10 minutes before the start time. Here you will be welcomed by one of the pilots of our team, a group of friends united by their passion for flying.
Before take-off, we will hold a briefing to learn some aviation basics and get to know our two-seater ultralight aircraft up close. We will explain how it works and its features, and then we will enter the cockpit together and take our seats in front of the dual controls.
We will then fasten our seatbelts and prepare to take off from the runway. The music of the engine will accompany us as we take off from the ground and begin our excursion into the skies.
From the Ivrea area we will fly in the direction of Lake Orta at a speed of around 160-170 km/h. We will see below us the sparkling waters of the lake, a true Piedmontese jewel, and the small island of San Giulio in its centre.
During the 60-minute flight , you will also have the opportunity to try piloting the ultralight thanks to the dual controls, under the close supervision of the pilot. At the end of the experience, we will prepare forlanding and conclude by exchanging mutual impressions of the flight.
The total duration of the activity will be 75 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 12. For minors , the presence of an accompanying adult is required.
The requirements for participation are a state of good health, a maximum height of 1.90 m and a maximum weight of 100 kg.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round (with a winter break between December and January), weather permitting.
Please note. Flights only take place in favourable weather conditions. In the event of bad weather and/or adverse conditions of any kind, the experience may be postponed or modified at the pilot's sole discretion.
You will be on board a two-seater ultralight aircraft with dual controls, model Groppo Trail, Kitfox, Savannah or Albatros (depending on availability).
In the case of several participants, the briefing will be held jointly, while the flight will be conducted individually. Subject to availability of pilots and equipment, it is possible to request a simultaneous flight with several ultralights taking off together, while participants can keep in touch via radio.
During the experience, it is possible to take videos and photos with your smartphone.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
