Full description
A lake. Six villages. A Vespa. The day’s itinerary is already set.
Set off from Magione on a hire 125cc Vespa and enjoy a full-day itinerary taking in medieval villages, views of the lake and roads surrounded by greenery. Simply follow the recommended route around Lake Trasimeno and let yourself be surprised by everything you’ll find along the way!
What we will do
The meeting is at the selected time at the meeting point in Magione (PG). Here, the organisers’ staff will hand over your hire Vespa 125 cc, along with helmets, an interactive map, a travel guide and all the information you’ll need before setting off.
Once you’ve left the village of Magione, you’ll begin your journey along the shores of Lake Trasimeno. Your first stop will be Montecolognola, a small medieval village perched on a hill, where you can stroll through the cobbled alleyways and enjoy a splendid view of the lake.
You’ll continue on to San Feliciano, a historic fishing village, and reach Castiglione del Lago, one of Umbria’s most beautiful villages. Here you can stroll along the medieval walls, admire the majestic Rocca del Leone, the Palazzo della Corgna and the panoramic views over the lake.
The journey will continue through the charming village of Borghetto and then on to Tuoro sul Trasimeno, famous for having been the scene of the historic battle between Hannibal and the Roman army. The final stop will be Passignano sul Trasimeno, with its picturesque historic centre dominated by the medieval fortress and its lively lakeside promenade, the departure point for ferries to the lake’s islands.
At the end of the tour, we’ll return to Magione, where we’ll hand back the Vespa. The hire will last for a maximum of around 9 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence. Passengers must beat least 6 years old.
During the journey driver and passenger may swap driving if both meet the requirements.
Other information
The experience is available from March to November.
Please note! The organiser reserves the right to require the customer to undertake a preliminary driving test and, should the result be unsuccessful, the tour will be cancelled.
The price is per Vespa; the organiser has 8 125cc Vespas available, each fitted with a mobile phone holder and top box, capable of carrying 1 rider and 1 passenger, for a total of 16 participants.
A credit card will be required as security upon collection of the vehicle. If you do not have a credit card, a security deposit of €300. 00 in cash will be required, which will be refunded at the end of the hire period.
A lead rider service is available on request at an additional cost of €400. 00: please contact the organiser using the details provided in the confirmation email to request this service.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
