Tandem paragliding flight in the Monte Cucco Park

Have you ever captured the entire Central Apennines at a glance?

You will be able to do so by taking part in our paragliding experience: in the company of a pilot, you will fly over the Monte Cucco Park enjoying an exclusive view that sweeps from the Sibillini Mountains to the Adriatic Sea.

A flight of at least 15 minutes, in one of the most popular destinations for air sports enthusiasts!

What we will do

The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Sigillo (PG). You will be welcomed by the pilot who will accompany you on this paragliding flight!

Upon your arrival, after getting acquainted, you will board a shuttle and in 20 minutes you will reach Pian di Monte, your take-off point at an altitude of 1,200 metres.

When you arrive at your destination, the pilot will give you a briefing during which he will provide you with all the information you need for the experience. You will also do a practical simulation of the short run-up to take-off. Once you have donned your harness and are strapped in to each other, it will finally be time to take flight!

You will glide for about 15-30 minutes over the Monte Cucco Park, flying over a beautiful beech forest and the villages of Sigillo, Costacciaro and the imposing aqueduct of Villa Scirca. From the sky you will enjoy an exclusive view of the Central Apennines, even catching a glimpse of the Sibillini Mountains and the Adriatic Sea. During the flight, you can even try your hand at piloting a paraglider!

You will finally land at the meeting point. The experience will last 1½ hours in total.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for ages 8 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on site by an adult to sign the authorisation.

A maximum weight of 105 kg is required to participate in the activity.

The experience is not suitable for persons with motor disabilities or reduced mobility.

The activity is also suitable for those who suffer from vertigo: as your feet are not on the ground, you will not feel the sensation of falling typical of vertigo during the paragliding flight.

The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first paragliding flight.

Other information

Caution! Paragliding is a weather-dependent activity. The pilot will check the weather report and contact you the evening before the date of the experience to confirm or postpone it for better conditions.

The experience takes place all year round.

There is free parking on site; the meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

When booking, it is possible to purchase the"flight + video" option, which includes a recording of the flight with a GoPro10 video camera; the video will then be shared with the participant via e-mail in the days following the experience.

Theexperience is individual: the flight is carried out in tandem by 1 pilot and 1 participant. It is possible to request the simultaneous flight option by making a booking for 2 people and then contacting the pilot at the contact details indicated in the booking confirmation e-mail to confirm the possibility of the flight.
