There is a moment when you stop feeling like a guest of the air. It happens when you fly next to a bird of prey.
In Livigno you can fly tandem paragliders with a professional pilot and share the sky with Vega, a Harris's Buzzard used to free flight. She is not trained to perform and does not follow commands like a stage animal: she flies because it is her element. And that is what makes the experience so rare and unforgettable.
For about 10 to 15 minutes you will fly over the Livigno ski resort and the snow-covered Alps, while the raptor takes advantage of the same currents and flies alongside you. A sensation that is hard to explain until you experience it.
What we will do
The appointment is at 12 noon in Livigno (SO), about 10 minutes early. You will be welcomed by the professional pilot who will accompany you on this truly unusual experience.
Together with him, you will find the take-off point, either on foot, with skis on your feet or by snowmobile, depending on the conditions and your preference. Here begins the briefing, which will be twofold: one dedicated to paragliding and one specifically on how to behave in the air together with Vega, Harris's Buzzard.
Before take-off you will get to know Vega better: a bird of prey used to free flight, which does not follow commands but interacts with the environment and the pilot in a natural way. It is precisely this elegant and unpredictable presence that makes the flight so special.
When everything is ready, all it takes is a short run-up over the snow or a few metres on foot to get off the ground. In the air, we will glide over the ski resort of Livigno, surrounded by the highest peaks in the Alps, while Vega will fly alongside us using the same currents. If you wish, we can also add some more dynamic manoeuvres, always in total safety.
The flight takes about 10-15 minutes. The landing will take place near the ski lifts, so you can continue your day on skis or enjoy Livigno from the ground. .. with a very different story to tell.
Between preparation, briefing, flight and return, the experience lasts a total of about 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied or have signed authorisation from both parents.
The weight limit for participating in this experience is a minimum of 30 kg and a maximum of 80 kg (person only), maximum 110 kg (person with ski equipment) .
Other information
The experience takes place from November to May, subject to the opening of the ski lifts.
Paragliding is an activity strictly dependent on the weather and wind conditions: the pilot will contact you 1 day before the date of the experience to confirm the feasibility of the flight at his discretion.
The experience is individual; no simultaneous flights are available.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.
An additional photo and video service is available: contact the pilot at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email for more information. If you have photo and/or video equipment, you will only be able to use it in flight if the pilot assesses it to be suitable.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
