Live an absolutely unique experience with Hike & Fly paragliding at Cima Costalta, in Trentino.
You will thus combine two sporting activities that will give you moments of pure excitement and introduce you to a fascinating area, characterised by the ferruginous-arsenical water springs and the thermal springs of Sant'Orsola.
After a 4.5 km trek you will reach Cima Costalta, where you will take off with the pilot to experience all the thrills of free paragliding. You will fly over spectacular landscapes of thePinè Plateau and the Lagorai for 15 minutes, which will surely leave you breathless!

What we will do
We will be with the pilot near Baselga di Pinè, in the province of Trento. In about 20 minutes by car we will reach Passo del Rebus, an alpine pass located at 1455 metres above sea level.
From here we will walk up to Cima Costalta. Dosso di Costalta, or Monte di Costalta, is part of the Lagorai chain and offers one of the most beautiful views in the area thanks to its isolated position. Backpacking, we will walk for about an hour and a half to a maximum of two hours until we reach the take-off point. The route is 4.5 km long, with an altitude difference of 500 metres.
Once we reach the chosen point, we will prepare for the paragliding flight. The pilot will explain some basic paragliding principles and safety rules. Afterwards, we will put on our equipment and, firmly harnessed to him, we will do a little run-up to take flight!
We will fly over magnificent landscapes, from theAltopiano di Pinè to the Lagorai, from the Brenta to the Val dei Mocheni, while remaining comfortably seated. It will be the pilot who will take care of everything, while we will only have to admire the landscape and enjoy the unique sensation of free flight.
After about 15 minutes of flying, depending on wind conditions, we will land softly near the meeting point. Between moving, trekking, preparation and flying, the experience will last about four hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone. There are no age limits, the important thing is to weigh between 40 kg and 110 kg. Some walking ability is necessary to be able to tackle the trekking route.
Other information
The activity is available from March to October, weather permitting.
Important: paragliding is an activity that is strongly weather dependent. Contact the pilot the day before the activity to receive confirmation of the time and meeting point. If the weather forecast is not good, the flight will be carried out in another flying area or postponed to a new date.
It is not possible to fly at the same time.
