Paragliding is anexciting experience that allows you to enjoy the surrounding landscape from a unique and different perspective: the sky!
With a two-seater paragliding flight over Monte Sabotino, near Gorizia, you will find yourself surrounded by the beauty of nature and the charm of the mountains, in a wide variety of environments: in just a few kilometres you will go from the Gulf of Trieste to the heart of the Carnic and Julian Alps.
Flying with you in a paraglider for about 30 minutes will be a world champion, holder of 8 world records and member of the Italian National Paragliding Team. Who better than her to guide you on this adventure and make you appreciate the wonders of paragliding?
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Gorizia (GO). We will arrange to move together to the take-off point; if the number of participants allows it, we will use only my vehicle, otherwise I will ask you to follow me in your own vehicle. After a few kilometres we will reach Mount Sabotino, 600 metres above sea level, and prepare for departure.
We will have a short briefing during which I will explain theactivity in detail. The flight is carried out in tandem with me, who will take care of everything. It will only take a few steps and before you know it we will find ourselves suspended in a new dimension between heaven and earth: we will enjoy the magnificent landscape, meet birds of prey and other birds of prey, and, above all, enjoy an incredible sense of freedom.
In flight, we will have our hands free to film or take photographs! What's more, by sitting down, we won't feel dizzy. The activity lasts about 1½ hours, including 20 or 30 minutes of flight time, depending on the weather conditions of the day.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 5 and up.
Good health is required to participate in this activity.
A weight between 25 and 100 kg is required to participate in this activity.
If the participant is a child, an elderly person, or a person weighing more than 90 kg, please contact the rider at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate your attendance.
Other information
You may be accompanied by friends or relatives who will be able to watch your launch or landing from the ground, and in the case of several participants we will try to fly all together with the help of other expert guides.
Important: if you are unable to reach the take-off point by your own or the pilot's car, you may be asked to pay a supplement of 6 to 10€ to use the shuttle service.
The performance of the activity is strictly dependent on weather conditions. You will receive confirmation of your flight from the pilot the day before.
Photos and videos will be shared with you by the pilot at the end of the experience via smartphone.
