You may wonder what is so great about running into the void. The answer is simple: the next 15 minutes. Those in which the ground disappears beneath your feet and you find yourself flying above the blue Tyrrhenian Sea.
With a paragliding flight in Praia a Mare you take off from an altitude of 650 metres with a professional pilot, admiring the Calabrian coastline and the spectacular Dino Island from a perspective reserved for the lucky few. And the landing? Directly on the beach, with a gentle final glide.
It will be the most incredible 15 minutes of your summer!
What we will do
The meeting with the pilot is in the area of Praia a Mare, in the province of Cosenza. With an organiser's vehicle, you will reach the take-off point, about 30 minutes away (transfer included) .
Once at the altitude, about 650 metres above sea level, the pilot will explain everything you need to take off safely: how to position yourself, when to run, and how to tackle the short run-up that will take you off the ground.
Once you have put on your harness and completed the checks, we will hold a final technical briefing. Then it's just a few steps of a run-up. .. and you'll be in the air!
For about 10-15 minutes you will fly over the Tyrrhenian coast, enjoying a privileged view of the turquoise sea, the cliffs and the spectacular Dino Island, symbol of Praia a Mare.
A video will be shot by the pilot during the flight, so you can take home every moment of this experience. And if you feel like it, you can also try manoeuvring the paraglider, again under the pilot's guidance.
The landing will take place on the beach. Between briefing, transfers and actual flight, the experience lasts a total of about 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding is an accessible experience for everyone. You only need to be in good health, have no heart or cardiovascular disease, and be able to make a short run at take-off.
To participate, you must weigh between 30 and 130 kg. Minors may participate with the permission of a parent or responsible adult.

This activity can be carried out all year round.
Important: paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather conditions. The pilot will contact you 2 or 3 days before the planned date of the activity to confirm the precise time and feasibility of the flight.
Simultaneous flights of up to 3 participants at a time can be organised on request.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; a transfer service from your accommodation/hotel is available on request and at an extra charge. On-site parking is available for a fee.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
