A picnic among the olive trees of the Sardinian hinterland is much more than an outdoor dinner: it is a journey through authentic flavours and ancient traditions!
A few steps away from a historic olive mill, an experience awaits you that combines a tasting of aromatised oils with local products.
All accompanied by family hospitality and a vintage touch that will make the atmosphere even more special!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Escolca (SU), in the heart of the Sardinian hinterland.
You will be welcomed inside an oil mill that has been in operation for four generations, where the oils that you will taste during the experience are produced.
A few steps will lead you to the olive grove, where you can walk among hundred-year-old trees and discover the secrets of the Sardinian art of oil making. At the end of the walk, you will receive your picnic basket for two, filled with local delicacies.
Inside you will find artisanal Sardinian specialities and local products combined with fine aromatised EVO oils. To accompany everything, you will have 1 bottle of wine for every two people.
You will enjoy your picnic among the olive trees, in a vintage-style atmosphere surrounded by the scents of the Mediterranean maquis.
The experience will last about 3 hours in total , but you can enjoy the picnic without time constraints.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, ideal for both couples and families. Children up to the age of 6 participate free of charge, while there is a reduced rate for children aged 7 to 11.
The facility is wheelchair-accessible.

The experience takes place from April to September.
Dogs are allowed during the experience.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
