Do you know why the people of Tuscany don’t pronounce the ‘c’?
Because they’ve eaten it. And what better way to treat them than with our picnic in Gambassi Terme: you’ll sample local delicacies and raise a glass of wine, all set against the stunning hilly backdrop of Chianti.
A 2-hour experience to savour every last crumb of!
What we will do
We’ll meet at the selected time at the meeting point in Gambassi Terme (FI). The experience takes place at a farmhouse in the Chianti hills.
On arrival, we’ll be given a picnic basket containing local produce: bread or focaccia, cold cuts, cheeses, salad or vegetables for dipping, honey, jams and cantuccini; including water, one bottle of Chianti wine for every two people and Vin Santo.
We can settle down in the olive grove, the lavender field or any other natural setting on the estate, whilst enjoying the panoramic view over the Chianti hills!
The experience lasts approximately 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0 to 3 participate free of charge: please contact the venue using the details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know they will be attending. No picnic is provided for children aged 0 to 3.
This experience is not accessible to people with mobility impairments.

The experience runs from April to October.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
