Full description
There arethose who go to the gym and those who do calisthenics: guess which team you are on today.
Treat yourself to a gourmet break among the hills and vineyards of the Tuscan Maremma, the location chosen for this picnic. Your basket will be filled with local delicacies and a bottle of natural red wine, ready to be enjoyed in company.
And, if you choose to have this experience at sunset, the magic will be complete, with the colours and scents of the countryside becoming even more intense!
What we will do
The meeting point is at Fattoria La Maliosa in Podere Monte Cavallo, a hamlet in the municipality of Saturnia (GR).
Here you will collect your basket and walk about 200 metres to an equipped and panoramic area, with tables, shaded seating and a colourful Big Bench. You can choose whether to sit at the tables, setting them with the tablecloth provided, or to spread the cloth provided directly on the grass.
In the picnic basket you will find everything you need to set up your feast: a bottle of natural red wine (for every two people), a selection of local cold cuts and cheeses, sliced Tuscan bread, crispy pizza, homemade biscuits, fresh fruit and water. You can relax freely, breathing in the hill breeze and admiring the views of the Tuscan Maremma.
If you wish, you can participate in a guided walk (optional) of about 20 minutes with the staff, who will tell you about the history of the farm and organic production methods, accompanying you to the nearby vineyard (choose the"picnic + walk" option when booking).
The activity has a recommended duration of 3 hours, but you can choose how long you want to stay.

The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.
The consumption of wine is restricted to participants over 18 years of age.
The experience is not wheelchair accessible.

The experience takes place all year round.
When booking, it is possible to add to the experience a guided walk of around 20 minutes to discover the history of the farm and production methods, at an extra cost of €5 per person. Select the "picnic + walk" option.
Those who wish can purchase additional bottles of wine at the farm shop.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
