Hey there, we’ve got something special to deliver to you!
We’re waiting for you in Diano d’Alba to collect a picnic basket brimming with local specialities , including a bottle of Dolcetto to raise a glass with whoever you like.
The icing on the cake for your next trip to the Langhe – sure to make it even more delicious!
What we will do
The meeting point is at the venue in Diano d’Alba (CN), a farmhouse nestled amongst the vineyards of the Langhe, with breathtaking views of Grinzane Cavour Castle.
On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the staff, who will hand you your traditional wicker basket and a blanket or towel to use as a tablecloth. In your picnic basket you’ll find :
- 1 bottle of Dolcetto from the Veglio Romano e Lorenzo Winery (1 per 2–3 people)
- a selection of cold cuts and cheeses
- Country-style omelette
- Bread, breadsticks and water
- Crockery
You can choose to sit in the farmhouse’s outdoor areas, in the vineyard, or leave the estate to head to one of the countless scenic spots amongst the Langhe hills and enjoy your picnic in complete freedom.
At the end of the experience, you must return to the meeting point before the farmhouse closes to hand back the wicker basket and the blanket.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Alcohol will only be served to participants of legal drinking age.
The venue is not wheelchair accessible.

The experience generally takes place from April to October.
The booking times are approximate: select your preferred time and, if necessary, contact the venue to arrange a new time for collecting your basket.

Dogs are allowed, provided you notify the venue using the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
