As the sun sinks behind the rows of vines, bathing the hills in a warm red glow, you sit on a blanket at the top of a vineyard with a panoramic view, a glass of Metodo Classico in your hand!
Join us for this sunset picnic in the Oltrepò Pavese and let your gaze wander from Montalto Pavese Castle to the majestic silhouette of Monte Rosa.
A 3-hour experience on the Podere Bignolino estate, where fine flavours meet a warm welcome!
What we will do
The event will take place at the selected time at the Podere Bignolino winery in Montalto Pavese (PV). On arrival, we will be welcomed by the Contardi family’s staff, who will provide us with a blanket so we can settle down at the picnic spots, with views over the hills of the Oltrepò Pavese.
We’ll be able to choose a bottle of Metodo Classico white or rosé wine, to be enjoyed with a selection of cold cuts, artisan cheeses and bread, which will be served to us at our spot.
From this panoramic vantage point, we’ll be able to enjoy the spectacle of the sunset illuminating Montalto Pavese Castle, and on the clearest days we’ll even be able to catch a glimpse of Monte Rosa in the distance.
The experience will last approximately 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is for adults only.
A reduced rate is available for children or accompanying adults who do not drink alcohol. Alternative drinks such as water or Coca-Cola are included for them.
The event is also accessible to pushchairs and wheelchair users.

The experience is available from May to September and requires a minimum of two participants to be confirmed.

The estate offers free parking reserved for guests, but there is no public transport service to the estate.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
