Everything you could possibly want from a vineyard picnic.
This is what awaits you at Cervognano Montenero: a traditional picnic basket, a generous selection of typical Tuscan specialities and a bottle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOGC.
And to top it all off, the view of the Tuscan hills.
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Cervognano Montenero, a hamlet of Montepulciano (SI) . The experience takes place at Cantina Chiacchiera, a family-run winery in the Tuscan hills.
On arrival, we’ll be met by a member of the family who owns the estate, who ’ll give us a brief overview of the family’s history and that of the estate.
We will then be given our picnic basket: this contains a light lunch featuring typical Tuscan specialities such as bruschetta dressed with the estate’s own olive oil, cured meats, cheeses from Pienza, fagioli all’uccelletto and much more; 1 bottle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG; a tablecloth, crockery and everything else you’ll need.
We can then settle down amongst the vine rows and enjoy our picnic!
The experience lasts approximately 3 hours in total.

Wine will only be served to participants of legal drinking age.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
